Scream Of The Mourning Star
Description:
Extreme Polish death metal outfit Lost Soul, self styled as ‘Cruel death art’, came together during 1991. The band released a couple of demos and the fan base grow. The band got out on tour to support acts like Vader, Dying Fetus, Kataklysm, Monstrosity amongst others. The band now got contract offers from different labels and in 2000 the debut album ‘Scream Of The Mourning Star’ was released by Metal Mind in Europe and Relapse in the States. The brutal debut has everything we have come to expect from the fertile Polish metal scene--excellent and creative musicians with a major grudge against God and organized religion. This is not a perfect album, as a couple of songs fall short of greatness, but most of the time Lost Soul whip out an impressive barrage of Morbid Angel/Deicide-inspired Death Fucking Metal.
