Description:
Kristendom (is Swedish for ‘Christianity’) isn’t a Swedish band as you might think but a band that was formed in Paris in 1997. They play music that sits neatly between thrash and death metal. The death like growl vocals are mixed with a slowed down thrash complete with lyrical content more related to black metal. It’s heavy as hell and even throws in the female vocals on ‘The Diva’. It’s the story of the enslaved Diva and her battle to escape the grip of Satan with the first two tracks, ‘The Last Scream’ and ‘Revelation’ featuring each taking turns to speak their minds on the choruses. ‘Rain Of Tears’ was a short haunting instrumental part, while ‘We Must All Die One Day’ came across almost symphonic in instrumentation, indeed, the entire album is like an opera played to a heavy metal beat and haunting musical backdrops. The recording is high quality, professional, hard as hell, unique and just kicks ass
